LVL Base Ultra was developed to offer maximum flexibility in your salon: from LVL Base to builders and hard gels.
LVL Base Ultra is an all-around base coat that you can use flexibly with various techniques and client profiles. It’s a perfect match for builders and hard gels, as well as LVL Base/BIAP treatments. Check out all the information about this base coat below!
Ultra Base is the first base coat in the Polkadots line that isn’t a BIAP Base. The main difference between BIAP Clear and LVL Base Ultra is that the Ultra base coat is thin and flexible and won’t pinch.
“BIAP Clear / Hard Base” naturally remains a staple in our lineup. LVL Base Ultra is therefore not a replacement for BIAP Clear / Hard Base, but an additional option for your salon.
The formula ensures strong adhesion between the natural nail and the product, making it an excellent choice for clients who experience lifting more quickly or for treatments where extra adhesion is desired.
You cannot build up nails with LVL Base Ultra; if you wish to build up with a clear product, we recommend BIAP Clear / Hard Base.
Tips for specific treatments / nail types:
- If you want to build up the nail with a clear product, smooth out imperfections with a base coat, or have clients with very pronounced naturally curved nails, we recommend BIAP Clear / Hard Base.
- With a pigmented BIAP, just as with BIAP Clear, you can apply one or more full coats of Ultra Base for extra protection of the natural nail. This ensures that when removing a pigmented BIAP, you can safely and cleanly remove the old product from the nail.
- Ultra Base can be used in combination with BIAP Clear if desired: you can apply Ultra Base and then build up the nail with BIAP Clear.

HOW TO USE
Apply a thin layer of LVL Base Ultra and cure for 60 seconds under an LED lamp.
For optimal adhesion, use LVL Base Ultra as part of the Polkadots Zero Lifting Routine:
Nail Prep → LVL Bond → LVL Base Ultra
